What is order consolidation and how does it help?
When you purchase stock from overseas suppliers, your supplier may include delivery in the price of the order, or add delivery on as an additional charge.
If delivery is included, the freight charge may be hidden in the price of goods. However, if the freight charge is separate, you have some options to help reduce that amount!
Rather than paying shipping on each order, at a retail rate, consolidate your orders! This will increase the overall size of your shipment, and gives you access to significant shipping discounts with Book Systems.
Book Systems will receive your orders at our local depot, combine them at no charge, and fly them to you.

Where are my orders consolidated?
Orders are consolidated at a Book Systems consolidation depot, local to your supplier. This means your supplier only has to organise local shipping for your orders... and you might even get the local shipping for free!
How does this reduce my shipping costs?
You pay retail prices with brand-name shippers like UPS, FedEx and DHL. By combining the weight and volume of your orders, you become eligible for wholesale shipping prices. Book Systems gives you access to wholesale prices for your wholesale orders.
How fast are consolidated orders?
Consolidated air orders fly to Australia and New Zealand, just as they would with a retail carrier. You should expect consolidated orders to take 5-8 days to reach you, once dispatched from your supplier.
What else can I ship?
Book Systems specialises in shipping books, but we are able to include many other items in your shipments. Card stock, paper, magazines, stationary, vinyl LPs, and more! Buy a range of specialised products from your suppliers and enjoy wholesale shipping prices across all orders.
How do I get started?
Create an account with us and before placing orders with your suppliers, update your shipping address to a local Book Systems consolidation depot. When orders arrive at our depot, you’ll be notified. Ship consolidated orders once you’re ready.
