DP World is one of the major wharf terminal operators in Australia, handling roughly 40% of all container movements across the country.

You may have seen DP World mentioned in the news regarding their continued Protected Industrial Action.

DP World are continuing with these actions, including several complete stoppages (December 5th to December 7th), plus many other actions that are impacting supply chains. The full list is attached to this letter.

With this escalation of Protected Industrial Action, we are seeing significant service disruptions across all port terminal operators (not just DP World) as shipping lines adjust schedules and attempt to have vessels handled by other operators.

There will be significant impacts to the supply chain in the comings weeks which may result in cargo arriving and being delivered later than anticipated. There is also a significant risk of additional charges being incurred.
