Freight rates have continued to soften since we wrote last. The 2nd half July rates were released this weekend and reflect lack of cargo from main ports in China. NCFI + FBX report falling spot rates:

• Shanghai/Ningbo - Sydney/Melbourne - 20’GP - USD 69.00/40’HC - USD 138.00

• Shenzhen/Shekou - Sydney/Melbourne - 20’GP - USD 79.00/40’HC - USD 148.00

• Xiamen - Sydney/Melbourne - 20’GP - USD 79.00/40’HC - USD 148.00

Spot rates to North America + Europe/UK are available on request.
