SEVERE WEATHER TO DISRUPT SCHEDULING
AIR CARGO MOVEMENTS FROM CHICAGO
A powerful winter storm is currently moving from the Arctic south. As it is approaching the Midwest and the Great Lakes and increasing in strength it has brought all activities at Chicago O’Hare to a complete standstill. Associated with this are widespread power outages which are causing further delays and conditions are likely to worsen with many roads closed and trucks stranded in the heavy snow.
Our scheduled flights were all cancelled, and we are waiting for the weather system to move on before we can assess the situation early next week.
Every effort will be made to re-book our containers on available aircraft at the earliest opportunity.
Our teams will update you on further schedule changes where possible.
BSI appreciates your understanding, and we hope you remain safe during these conditions.
